That was the worst game I've ever seen Brees play.

I've seen worse but not by much.

Oh well, so we'll only go 15-1.

I didn't see the game, (was outside splitting logs from Isaac) but from what I hear the Saits have a better chance of going 1 and 15

Actually I thought he played well. He was good on his feet and placed the ball in the right places. Too many dropped passes that were on the numbers along with an absurd amount of penalties and no defense. It is very hard to win when you allow 40 points!

Nope, it was all Brees being off. Passes too low, short, to the other team. Something was off with him.

If you score 30 plus points you should win the game unless you don't have a defense which the Saints still do not have. They let a rookie QB hang 40 points on them in their own stadium. That defense (if you can call it that) SUCKS!

Well that's true, and Drew was NOT getting the protection he usually gets. Then again, the other teams may have figured out what he's been doing for the last few years and they have changed and we haven't.

Saints played better then vs Washington.

    But they faded early.

Not quite time to wear the paper bag.

    Hope Brees isn't hurt.

Unfreakin' believable...blow a 24-6 lead at home to an 0-2 team...time to look forward to the Super Bowl, err draft. :(

Hate to say it but I believe we will have trouble winning any games this year. When Payton comes back it will be time to clean house and start over. Keep Brees and maybe a few others and start building another team.

So no different than the previous 30 years or so (except those special 2 or 3). fun to watch, usually a good play tossed in there somewhere but expect them to lose. And I finally got my wife to start watching...

In hindsight the Saints should have left Brees unsigned and let him and Payton spend the year preparing for the '13 season.

Just one key injury away from staring at a 3-13 season IMHO. :(

At least they won one and Brees set another record.

Did you see where he dedicated the record breaking pass to me? Thought that was a nice touch. ;)

How much more BS are they going to pile onto the Saints?

Now THAT'S the way to play a game! Although I still wonder why we are having so many misses when tackling. I mean 4 or 5 times a run the Saint's ALMOST bring the runner down.. ok, that's not true, they play flag football and touch the runner..
