    JSU's Ryan Perrilloux Named OVC Player of the Week

    BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Jacksonville State’s Ryan Perrilloux has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week, the league office announced on Sunday.

    Perrilloux finished with 321 yards of total offense after scoring three touchdowns in JSU’s 35-22 win over Austin Peay on Saturday. He passed for 271 yards and two touchdowns and added 50 rushing yards and a score on 10 carries.

    The LaPlace, La., native has thrown for two-or more touchdowns five times this season and has thrown and rushed for a touchdown in the same game five times this year.

    The junior quarterback now has 2,230 yards of total offense, which is the fifth most in school history, and has 1,947 passing yards, which is the sixth most in school history for a single season. It marks the seventh OVC Player of the Week award for Perrilloux this season.

    He wasn't bright enough to be a loose Cannon . Although , now that I think about Ryan beat the counterfeiting allegations and Cannon didn't .

    Perrilloux has screwed me over twice. Not only did he by himself defeat my high school's football team in the playoffs after an undefeated season in my senior year, he killed the last LSU football season I'll get to see as an undergraduate.
