    I use to really like this show. Actually because it seemed more "real" than other reality shows. Gene is a great business man and doesn't hide his appetite for the ladies. Both the son and daughter are bright (she's also hot!) and funny.

    I just watched a couple episodes last night and I think they have "jumped the shark". Here are the "real" things that happened in 30 minutes.

    1) ladies come over for a "Tazer" party. mother of boy that daughter has crush on first gets pepper sprayed and then actually tazered, by accident.

    2) security company installation guy comes over and surprises mom and she jumps squirting him with water.

    3) son goes out of town with Gene, hangs out with son of Gene's business contact and while talking to a girl all of a sudden all the kids turn against the son for talking to the girl, chasing him around town wanting to fight him.

    4) son and daughter pick up Gene's birthday cake, daughter slams on brakes and cake goes everywhere on him.

    I use to to watch it now and again. I'm surprised this show is still on actually.

    I did notice that now Dee Snider has a show. Damn his wife is hot!

    yes, but unbearably stupid. saw that last night too and she was the only one telling her son he should have beat up the comic making fun of the family. everyone else in the family thought it was funny and he shouldn't have a hot head.

    LOL.

    I didn't watch it. Was just about to flip off the tv and saw it. I'm sure one of these day's I'll be bored and catch an episode. After all I've reduced my self to watching "You're Cut Off".

    my wife and I watch this show on occasion and I have notice some rediculous stuff happening recently. Like his wife, who loves to spend his money, refuses to take their car in for an oil change because they charge too much, so she tries to do it herself right before Gene goes on a trip. So then the car make a dieseling sound right before the car dies on his way to Vegas, not the sound a car makes if it runs out of oil. then somehow, extremely wealthy Gene is stranded on the highway on a weekend with absolutely NO cars coming down the road to Vegas. Hitches a ride with a female trucker who nearly kidnaps hip to show him off to her husband, goes to a diner and catches a ride from Carrot Top. WTF

    Love the show. Didn't catch new episode - long ago knew that while brilliant, there can't be that much extra footage . . . after all, this is a Capitalist enterprise espousing the virtues of same.

    FWIW, Sophie just turned 18.

    Show is 90% staged, but I enjoy it. He's (obviously) a hell of a marketer and an effective communicator.

    it got a bit too corny for me when he glued a dildo to his hand and couldnt get it off.
