    I've started thinking ahead what could happen tax wise buying and flying a used or new plane. It is fairly complex, but there are some healthy tax benefits for business usage. Not certain your ordinary CPA can handle everything aviation specific. I know the IRS has a special team that just does aviation work. There are several aviation tax consulting businesses out there that seem to range from about $1,500-3,000 a year for a single piston. That seems like a lot, but I think completely worth it to keep in good with the IRS.
