Genuine Warranty - Exotic Warranty - Ben Evans????

    I am looking for an extended warranty. I was recommended to Genuine Warranty Solutions. In doing some research on the web, I am finding some links to a Ben Evans aka Ben Nuon and a company called Exotic Warranty. In these link, it is saying that Mr. Evans is going to trial in Florida for Criminal Grand Theft. Is this person really associated with Genuine Warranty Solutions? Has anyone had any experiences with this company? It has been so hard to find the right warranty so my concern is that I buy and then still have to pay for the repairs. Let me know if you have any experience on this. Thank You!

    He was very well known here at the time of his Florida work, we knew he'd married and taken his new wife's name......

    Just go with the Factory Warranty, and drive easy so nothing breaks...:rolleyes:

    Thank you for the provided information. Looks like factory warranty's only for me! I read that thread about this issue and I am just amazed.

    Once there is a AKA that is all I need to know unless the aka is for skippy, booger, pacman , flounder or other such nickname

    That is all a big rumor about Genuine and Exotic. The rumor was started by guys at a different warranty company. Think about it... this post http://www.thebestemployee.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102526&highlight=Ben+Evans was posted by a first time user. Does that really make sense? If you notice, any complaint that has been put up on the pissed consumer site or rip off report is the same exact complaint almost word for word. It is supposedly posted by numerous people. I find it hard to believe that all those different people typed the same exact post. I think the only legitimate/reliable place to see real complaints is the BBB. They make sure the person complaining is a real person, not hiding behind a false identity, and they actually investigate the situation. If the stories about this company were true, the BBB would not recognize them as a legitimate company. Don't let the competition of a good company fool you. Go to the BBB for reliable information. Other sites will post anything without checking the legitamacy of the complaint.

    Save your money and your hassle - don't buy an extended warranty for an exotic car from a third-part company. I hate to say it but I don't trust the entire industry now, thanks to my EWC experience. Who knows who's behind the companies....?

    It amazes me that a human being can start a business, get discovered for being a complete fraud, get shut down by the state, and then go and try and do the same thing over and over again. Doesn't it get old? How does someone like that sleep at night?
