    Interesting contrast to Jack Daniel's. The liquorice taste is there, but not as much...it's also a bit less "oily" and there are more shadings in the aftertaste. I tried their number 8, rated at 80 proof. You can also get number 12, which is 90 proof.

    I read where Dickel is made in a dry county. They post directions to the distillery on their website at www.dickel.com.

    Has anybody taken a tour?
