Ciao Baby whats up with the 350z??? Also I am wondering why do you buy an E-55 when you already have a kick ass M5. For a few bumps more you could've gotten a 612 Scag ( very classy car & not too ostentatious ). BTW I Just picked up my 04' Cayenne Turbo to add to the collection. Driving from Brandywine Porsche in PA to Georgetown was incredible. This Truck is so sick!! I have never been a fan of Porsche and thought there were the ugliest cars ever built BUT i admit times have indeed changed. I'm handing the keys to my ML 350 next Tues. for my mom's B-day present.

The e55 is an upgrade from my m5. I Am now viperless and M5'less :(
on the other hand the 350z is my new commuter car of the month, the e55 will be our next hot rod sedan and I now have space in my garage for that "Pappa Bull" I have been talking about :) Fun times ahead. look foward to seeing the pepper truck

and oh by the way the e55 is <$90k loaded 05 brand new. If you can find me a Scag for anywhere near that price I would be all over it and by one for you as well :). I will probably keep the 350z for about 6 months and dump it for a quatroporte or 456m, or maybe even a 360m with mild curb damage. You know better than anyone why am doing this, I simply wish to make room in my garage for the next round of toys...

David: You will love the Cayenne. I have an S for work and the car is an absolute blast. I also have off road wheels/Tires for the winter and it will go anywhere with those -loves snow. At the end of the Porsche Driving Experience the instructors take you for Hot Laps in the Cayenne Turbo and 911s. You can't believe how fast that truck can get around a race track. Good Luck

david..my b-day is coming up soon ;)...The E55 is sick...I think I'd own one before the E39 M5...but I can't wait for the new V-10 M5 to come out. Mercedes is putting some incredible engines in their AMG cars...but too bad no manual :(. Congrats on the Cayenne Turbo...I must admit I didn't like the Cayenne when it was first introduced...but it's growing on me....sloooowly.

Guys thanks for comps on the Cayenne. It's certainly a vehicle in which grows on you. Unlike the X5 you simply don't see a lot of Turbo Cay.s on the road. I had a chance to drive my friend's E 55 4 weeks ago impressive in a suttle looking way. Yet one thing I can't seem to tolerate is the 1-2 second delay when you stomp on the peddle. Even in my SL I notice a delayed reaction. People have stated "Oh well the car always starts in 2nd or Mercedes has an electronic Gas Sensor." Am I the only one that notices this?

Guys I look forward to seeing you all at the AUG. 14th Event, Starting at Ferrari of Washington's Parking lot. Tam and Redding were gracious enough to let us start our drive from there which was really cool of them.

MK I hope you got your price on the sales of both cars!!

    Hey Guys,

Can't wait to push the E55 to the limits! David, congrats on the Cayenne Turbo. Crazy to think that a truck has more horsepower than most supercars. I just put an order in for the 2006 BMW M4. If any of you are interested PUT THE ORDER IN NOW! there are only a few people on the waitlist at most dealerships. See you guys on the 14th!

I think the M3 will continue to be called that instead of M4. I read that the name "M3" has a lot of meaning to bmw enthusiasts...so the 3 series may remain 3 series...not 4 series...at least for the coupes.

Will there be any exotics at this next event? What tire shine will everyone use?

And, Antony, when are you going to start planting flowers to enhance the post drive pictures?

    :)

    Thanks,

hey I'm thinking of bring'n' the Turbo Cay. this time so the E55 crowd can be humbled. Word is my 360 can't compete with an E55

Glad you think so David. Sofar I have not found a Fcar that I can not live without. The only thing close is the F50 and I am not ready to drop 500k+ on a car. For 2-300k the Big bulls are still more ///MK than the 360 which my wife loves. If the the F40's come down a little I would consider one. Then again I am a little fickle all this is subject to change. Maybe if we can get Mel to learn to drive stick we can trade the Maser for Kerby's 360.

And someone please stop me from putting a blower in my new commuter car. I already visited a ricer tuner shop about bumping my shiny new 350z to around 420 hp. be a nice sleeper but I know I will get sick of it in about a month or two.
