    saw it, thought it would not be good. Never liked Russell Brand, and from the previews I didn't expect much. well....I was wrong, the movie is one of the funnier movies I've seen in a very long time and Russell Brand does a great job. It's clever and funny, and it doesn't try too hard. amazingly, I highly recommend it.

    After listening to Brand host the MTV awards a few years ago, I vowed never to knowingly contribute a dime to his work. I'll take your word that it's a good flick, but I won't watch it because of Brand's previous actions.

    Wow. Same here. I thought nobody else noticed.

    I'll see a Michael Moore movie in San Francisco before I contribute to Russell Brand.

    you guys' comments are totally understandable, after MTV I was hoping that I'd never hear his name or see his work again. But I will tell you that the movie is a funny movie...it pains me to give him the endorsement, but fair is fair, he did a good job.

    I have always found him entertaining. What did he do wrong on the MTV awards, I did not see it?

    Way too much politics to get into here without getting the thread moved to P&R. Lets just say that Brand spent most of his time at the microphone telling the US how horrible Bush was and how we should be running the country.

    I appreciate the review and respect your opinion that Brand gave a good performance. It's unfortunate that I will miss out on what appears to be an entertaining film.
