I was absolutely appalled to hear that there are some drivers in the F1 field who feel that they need a personal explanation from Michael Schumacher as to what happened in Monaco qualifying. Are you freaking kidding me?????????????????????

They said in this morning’s broadcast of Silverstone qualifying that Mark Webber approached MS to get his explanation. Is Webber a @#!$ing idiot? How much of an idiot is he coming across as being? I have just lost complete respect for him. Who the hell does he think he is? I don’t mean to single him out, as there are other drivers who are in the same group of idiots as him. De la Rosa threatened to quit the driver’s association if he didn’t get his explanation. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out, Pedro. That sentiment goes to every single driver who feels that they need to hear something beyond the stewarts’ penalty. GET OVER IT!!!!!!!

Alonso is the only one that I heard of as accepting what happened, and moved on………..no additional explanations required.

It would have been an entirely different matter if MS received no penalty from the stewards………….then I would completely understand if the drivers were up in arms over this. The fact is he lost all of his times and started from the back of the pack. Penalty served, issue closed. Let’s move on.

Pretty much what Hobbs and crew said in this morning's broadcast. As for Weber, disappointedly appearing more and more like his ego is greater than his talent.

    Agreed.

If these clowns paid more attention to their own problems, maybe they'd be a bit faster. This explains a lot.

Phew...and I was a big fan of his early on. I still hope he pulls his career out, but he's made it a bit harder to cheer for him. I basically agree that everyone should move on, but I also reserve my judgement a bit not knowing exactly what has been said between whom.

The problem is that MS is the head of the GPDA and has been doing a lot of good work to increase safety for the drivers. He lost a lot of respect from his fellow drivers in Monaco, that's probably why they're asking him directly.

Didn't they also mention on Speed that the GPDA had its regular pre GP drivers' meeting and a lot of drivers stayed away as they no longer respect MS?

I have read similar statements from individual drivers in the days following Monaco.

Edit: MS is one of three GPDA Directors (dunno who the others are). In protest over what happened in Monaco Jacques Villeneuve resigned from GPDA. He no longer wants to be represented by MS.

This could be a ploy to see if they can rattle him. A little psyop in the works.

Boy, you Google-up 'Grand Prix Drivers Association' and you see tons of pretty good stories, do that and check 'em out.
