Getting a status update

    For whatever reason my dealer is stalling and/or unable to get me a status check on my 458 order. I've asked several times over 4 weeks and not getting anywhere. Car was supposed to be built in March and I just want to confirm it was.

    Any suggestions as to alternate ways to find out what status code my car is in? I thought about calling FNA but not sure if that would work (and I don't necessarily want to get my dealer in trouble) ...

    weird, but true.

    I will admit that my dealer is reluctant as well. Great guys by the way. It's just their online system "MODIS" is useless. They have to call the regional manager for an update, I just don't think they want to bother them. I've been geting an update every 3 weeks or so. I'd like one every week, but it just anin't hapenning. BMW gives you info on the fly anytime you like.

    But hey, this is Ferrari! :)
