Hello all, first post for me as I just bought a sweet 348 and am going to start the winter project of getting the engine out and serviced. Lots of stuff in this forum and others, highly appreciated. I'll contribute as I move on. In the meanwhile I want some advice on triggering codes, and whether it is all so important right now. The car is already up in the garage and I don;t want to drive it on the Canadian roads right now. Last week we did a leak down test and thus erased the existing CEL codes that were flashing (and I never bothered to extract). Now I'm trying to get them to trigger again while the car is up by simply running it, but alas the CELs won't re-appear. Yes the bulbs are in there and the CELs illuminate during starting procedure. Thanks in advance. Steve Oh, in case you ask, we did a compression test at the same time and thus removed the ECU fuses, resulting in the loss of codes.
