I want this one I love GTs without the stripe...and blue or black is it for me. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NO-STRIPE-1000hp-Heffner-TWIN-TURBO-Center-Bolt-HREs-/120574750311?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1c12d0ae67 edit: apparently that dealer in the ebay ad has sold over 250 GTs and has 4 in stock including one in the color combo you want. I'm not affiliated with them, but just giving you a heads up. Wish I could see that blue GT in person...I didn't realize these cars were that expensive again.
I bought my red no stripe from Shelby. He's a good guy to deal with. Moves more GTs than anyone I'm aware of. Mine has been out at Discovery Auto for a few months getting some upgrades. Suppose to be back early next week. Very excited to get her back and take her out for a drive. They are such fun cars to own. http://www.discovery-automotive.com/portal/module.php?id=projects_Unraveling3
from what I had read on the GTForum, that particular GT was really quick and close to perfect in every way.
I am suprised no one has done the alteration that some one did to the Enzo.. That is to only cut the window and window upper header away , to reveal a T- Top. window still remains however frame and roof of door exit.. Can someone post the Enzo pic of that technique!!!!!!
I am kicking myself. I actually had the cash when they were new (now I am piss poor), but sat in one & didn't like it. If I had known I could drive it for half a decade... and MAKE MONEY, jeesh!
I am 6'7" and don't fit in stock GT's at all... I have about 4 inches of head that stick up for the door to chop off. What is weird is that I fit fine in an SPF
You can get the seat lowered, and have a gurney bubble installed, and all will be well... Hopefully you don't have the macintosh stereo option...
To be honest,I think you should get one thats dark blue with white stripes. Thats my favorite color combination by far for it.

There is a lot of iffy and questionable history about this vehicle. Basically... it is not street legal whatsoever. Additionally, as far as the prototypes go, it's not "that" important. The recommendation I recall is "stay away from this one" from the horses mouth.
Wow I guess I'm super late to this thread. Thought you'd might like to see some white/blue I shot a few months back: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
these cars are best without macintosh... you get to see the blower spinning 3 inches away from your right ear much better than a large bulbous complete afterthought of a stereo.
In no way whatsoever am I calling you a liar but that makes no sense at all. To say that a Ford GT is tight at 6'7 I buy. I'm 6'2 and I think they have plenty of leg and head room but I can see that if one was 6'7 that head room would start to get tight. The part about you fitting in an SPF fine... there is no freaking way lol. They have neither leg room or head room. The top of the door hit me right about the jaw line. At 6'2 there was not a chance in hell I could get into an SPF. The only way for that to be even close to true is if you are all legs and no torso and even then the foot well is way too small to fit long legs in. Something doesn't add up.
Not yet but its going to happen Right now I'm concentrating on making $ during this downturn. Once things start getting better & I get a few nagging things out of the way I'll find a nice white/blue one
I saw a black GTX1 conversion on PCH a while back, loud and looked spectacular with the targa top off. I'll take mine in Gulf heritage colors or white w/stripe.
Hey William... found this GREAT new floor box outfit ... they're based in Ningbo, and their **** is way cool for 1 billionth the price.... BillionBoxHappyness_now Trading Co. Know them? J/k ... I tell all my electrical / contracting geek friends / biz associates I'm buds with MISTER Hubbell ... hopefully they'll be ordering up more boxes. "Think Hubbell First" I believe they say [edit] Thought about you in the ANC airport yesterday - had a whole 2x duplex box to myself and my laptop. Yep - a Hubbell. Jedi
