I have a bunch of phones I need to donate. Sure, I could sell them, but I'd much rather give them to a facility that would need them. These are from the company that I work with and they are at my disposal.

    At least 50 - 2500 sets: http://froogle.google.com/froogle?hl=en&lr=&tab=ff&oi=froogler&q=analog+phones+2500&btnG=Search+Froogle&pid=4694681141821578409

    At least 20 2006's without displays: http://store.yahoo.com/usedphonesforless/normerm2basp1.html

At least 30 2008's with and without displays:
    http://www.telbroker.com/product_details.asp?product_id=624

3, new in box, 2008's with display. untouched, still in the package.

Except for the new phones, all are used to various extent. They all work, or you can have 10 and if there is a dud, then you'll have plenty to spare. Except for the 2500's, they are all digital, which will require a Nortel PBX.

................or.... shall I just start selling these items on ebay?

Hmm, I am aware of a battered women's shelter that welcomes discarded cell phones, but I don't know of anyone who would be interested in what you are offering. Try posting on Craigslist to see if there's any takers--maybe you can help a cash-strapped startup.

Very nice of you to ask.

I'm currently taking donations at work for old cell phones. They will be refurbished and proceeds go to The Special Olympics.

Sorry Quinn, not sure if the post made sense or not. These aren't cell phones. These are digital and analog phones that we have used on our Nortel PBX at work. The 2006's and 2008's were phased out for the 3903's, 3904's and 3905's for various parts of the call center.

Funny Randy... I was sitting here in my lab at Intel thinking, "dam, we need some good working phones in here." Half of our phones down here don't work. Well, I like those 2008's. If I could meet with you at some point and get a couple to try out that would be cool. If they work for me, then I would like about 6 or 10. That is, if you are still donating them. send me an email. [email protected].

Also, THANKS for coming out to the bikini shoot! Had a blast!

You might donate them to the Benefit Store in Richardson. North / West corner of Beltline and 75. Tax deductible charitable donation.

Your company will probably benefit financially more from the tax deduction than if you sold them anyway.
