Obviously when large groups of people gather there will always be some nut jobs, it’s humorous to me how some disparage the fact that a lot of people want to experience the beauty of Monterey week. It’s also funny how some talk about the old days of Ferrari as if it was just a bunch of enthusiast who shared a passion for cars. Please. Ferrari was always expensive. It was always elitist. Enzo and Luigi Chinetti made damn sure of that. Monterey week is defiantly massive today, no doubt. But, aside from a few undesirables, I think it’s wonderful. Costs high? Yeah, sure. It’s called free market capitalism and god bless it. Still, it’s the greatest automotive gathering on the planet and there are things for every income level to enjoy.
