    It's also on the seller's web site. The seller claims it to have had a historically important owner. Looks like a worn out, beat up car missing a few pieces and loaded with bondo. When one sees one in this condition, it's hard to imagine how it got to be so badly abused and neglected. Be interesting to see what it goes for. Somebody is going to have a really ambitious restoration project.

    It occurs to me that some things sold as project cars these days would have been considered to be only parts car not too long ago.

    Wow, unless your name is Bill Gates, Carlos Slim, or Warren Buffet, you don't have enough money to restore this to original. You definitely want to be the guy being paid to restore the car, not the one paying to get it restored.

    This is quite an interesting car! Chassis # 008. Correct me if I am wrong but I have never seen a very early car with that type of trunk lid or hood scoops for that matter.

    Cha Ching! There's a fortune in missing stuff here. If the engine is junk (how could it not be?) you've got nothing.

    It could be worse, at least it's not on fire. ;)

    If anyone here buys it, call me. I've got a rear bumper and a few other things that it needs.

    Was this the one that was on before in front of a barn (LOL) in Modesto or some other place?

    Hopefully we'll all be kicking ourselves a few years from now for passing on this.

    There is little of #008 left in the car, but there is plenty of at least 4 or 5 other cars. Unfortunately there is not much than can be done with this Ghibli no matter how much money you throw at it.
