I'm in touch with the factory, and they are OK to start again a little series of these longtime discontinued exhausts.

However, the molds... have been destructed a long time ago.

But I've got the chance to find a man, 1 hour from here, who has a NOS one !

I would have to negotiate with him and get his agreement to ship it to the factory as a model...

So as to preppare a global proposal to that guy, and to the factory, I was wondering if anybody else could be interested in ordering one.

    At today's date, I've been proposed a price of 1.600 €, for 1.

The quad exhaust in the Ghibli totally transform it and give it a very sporty image. I personally find them awesome!

The ones I always found out of place (or the weirdest) are the ones that bend sideways...

Sounds like a bargain at 1.600 € (for stainless of course), I would expect them to cost a lot more than that.

The exhaust in the photo is mine. I had this stainless steel copy made by Timevalve Manufacturing in Melbourne, Florida USA. Total cost with shipping about a year ago was $1800 USD. I'm totally happy with quality and sound.

I have also had my quad exhaust made by Timevalve. In fact it was my Ansa quad exhaust that I sent to them to make the mold.

    Hi Guys,

To my knowledge no Ghiblis were sold new with the Quad Pipes, perhaps the American owners can confirm this, if it is correct why move away from what was on the cars originally,

I think it was an original option that came from the factory. But it was also available from ANSA as an after-market upgrade.

    Anyone knows more details please?

    Hi Guys,

Checked my Original Spare Parts Book again, NO not in there as Quad Pipes, in my book I have a duty to keep the car as it left the factory, not to make it something it never was, however I fully understand not all share my views,

I had a Ghibli spyder once and the invoice specified a four pipe exhaust. It was a USA spec car. That car was picked at the factory by the first owner therefore the quad exhaust must have been installed at the factory.

If I only check the original spare parts manual for my 70' SS, I have to worry, since many parts that originally are in my car are not pictured in the manual made for the 1st series 4.7L.

    Am I wrong ?

My only possiility to get a NOS exhaust vanished yesterday as the guy does refuse to lend his.

He even prefers to go on selling stainless exhaust made in Vietnam than Ansa...

So, maybe, if everybody could drop him a line via email, or phone him ?!!!?

    He "specializes" in Maserati.

But above all on Biturbo now...
