I noticed that the Ghiblis at Concorso this year were all sporting ansa stickers on the exhaust tips and a red band right next to the exhaust tip. My question is this:

is there somewhere/someone who sells the red bands? Or are these homemade by you guys- if so, any tips on where to find the material?

    Many thanks

ANSA actually sells replacement stickers and the original red tape (at least they did last year when I needed some). Give them a call and ask if they still sell the items.

Most people just go to the local auto parts store and buy some red pinstripe tape. When it burns off, put on new.

Even though I bought some original red tape from ANSA a couple of years ago, it began lifting off my chrome tips after a couple of months. I found an acceptable, durable, cheap alternative. I used 3M red electrical tape that I bought from Lowe's.

I was able to cut it to a width of 1/2" using a brand new box cutter blade that I laid on top of a 1/2" piece of wood that I clamped to my workbench. A couple of nails attached to the wood helped keep the blade in place. You can then carefully push/roll the tape roll against the blade to cut into it. Go slowly and carefully so as not to slip and cut yourself and cut a clean line and enough tape for all four tips.

I also cleaned the chrome with acetone to remove all traces of dirt and grease. I think the results are more than acceptable and has lasted (so far) for over a year. Good luck!
