Yes very healthy market. The Silver Ghibli was priced at €285k I think?
Hi Francesco, I had a look at your car on the Classic virus website and wondered if you had lost the boorstops for the early cars. My car and another early one over here both have them [ with the drop down bootlid ] and I wondered if it was a deliberate move? Here's a photo from Davids car showing the rubber stop Julian Image Unavailable, Please Login
If they don't need any hole, then they have been lost in the past; so I have to put them. On the contrary, my car has no holes to accomodate them; it has neither the holes for the "Ghibli" badge! Francesco
I have an early car (1967) with the "drop down" boot lid. I did not even know that there were supposed to be rubber stops/bumpers in this location.
This early French Ghibli has the badges. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, Here's a few period shots showing cars with the drop down bootlid. The prototype has no badge and neither have most of the early cars on the registry. Which of course doesn't prove anything 100%. My car had the badge but in a weird position as if it had been added later Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here's my car before I bought it and the Ghibli badge is at a different height and is sloping upwards making me doubt its originality Image Unavailable, Please Login
