Fantastic, thanks. The Ghibli on EBay is going Ok but I suspect won't meet reserve!

    Hi Francesco,

I had a look at your car on the Classic virus website and wondered if you had lost the boorstops for the early cars. My car and another early one over here both have them [ with the drop down bootlid ] and I wondered if it was a deliberate move?
Here's a photo from Davids car showing the rubber stop

If they don't need any hole, then they have been lost in the past; so I have to put them. On the contrary, my car has no holes to accomodate them; it has neither the holes for the "Ghibli" badge!

Ok, my theory is early Ghibli should not have the Ghibli badge

I have an early car (1967) with the "drop down" boot lid. I did not even know that there were supposed to be rubber stops/bumpers in this location.

My '68 has only the Maserati badge. No holes for second badge in metal either.

Here's my car before I bought it and the Ghibli badge is at a different height and is sloping upwards making me doubt its originality
