This car is being totally restored as we speak. The owner decided to provide the funds to go for a bare metal restoration while fixing the damage from the accident (an old lady went into the opposite direction and forced him to steer away and into the barrier). At the moment they have fixed most of the body and they are stripping the old paint. Once completed it should be a very nicely restored Ghibli, since its not missing any parts.
That is quite a mess to sort out, not a restoration for the faint of heart. I hope all goes well, but certainly question the wisdom with the roof and door so badly bent.....the whole car could be twisted.
and that can be fixed too of course, and I'm sure they have checked the chassis. Cars like this are not supposed to be rational business decisions and I applaude the owner for doing the right thing and fixing her. Pete
Hi One time I would not have blamed the owner for making a conversion to a soft top! Glad it will be totally restored.
