Expected there would be a thread already here on the car; what does everybody think? Very strong action (>$110 grand) and car has only been up for 1-2 days. Granted a fairly rare color and love the Daytona inserts, although I’m not really a fan of yellow Ferrari’s (but that’s me!!- lol). I know of at least a couple of f-chatters here who think yellow a great Ferrari color.

Should mention too service records from new(!!), and a recent major. So a well-documented and would appear to be a “loved” (maintained) example. Mileage at 20k, do not a garage Quinn either. Looks like car heading for a “premium” price, really not too surprising.

How about a link. And is it one of the two known yellow 456's, or a 550 or 575m?

I don't even know what to search for.

Gorgeous car! I only remember that there were only two known yellow 456's (Might have been two M's, I don't remember). I love yellow on almost any Ferrari (There are exceptions).

So, two of each in yellow. More complete info than I had, thanks. Would love a yellow manual M.

    G. I was meaning to say one of each in yellow. I don’t know about automatics though. I’m looking for a white manual.

These would all have to be non-M variants or resprays. Only two giallo M's in the US that I'm aware of (1999 & 2001), both are GTAs.
And only one Bianco Avus 456M (also a 2001 GTA) A stunning car. IIRC, it was for sale within that last year or so. 355dreamer might remember.

I've seen several photos of non-M 456's in Bianco, but only Euro cars, none in the US.

Hmmmm. I believe you were the source for my two yellow M's info, but what about the pre-M cars? If there are two yellow manuals, it would make sense that they are not M's.

Ah, missed this post - too many notifications! - so thanks. killer58 says two yellow M's, both automatics. That would make at least three then, with one being a pre-M car (If yellow is the original color). So difficult to pin this stuff down.

I'm thinking of a yellow 612 now. If I don't like the F1/a, I have a connection with someone who can convert it to manual with some parts being fabricated (I have no problem with that).

Am I incorrect in assuming this would be less expensive and time consuming than locating OEM gear?

Do share your source if so, please! :)

I never knew my car had a twin with the same seats. Yellow really transforms the look of a 550.

Very strong price imo. Or perhaps others thought it would clear $150 grand?

very strong number for a car that someone likely never saw or got inspected.

but i have seen crazier sell for more and cars that should be bid higher get no/low bids.

Guessing the the rare combo of Giallo and black interior/Daytona-style seats w/ yellow inserts had enough bidders pumped up to bid it up there. Looked like a pretty nice 550, but none of these cars are perfect and this one isn't either. As we all know there's enough that can be wrong w/ these cars that it's a bit of a leap of faith the buy one sight unseen, even w/ a PPI.

Anybody know if this was a consignment car or dealer owned? Dealer probably did pretty well regardless.

    Maybe I’m a sucker, but I wasn’t surprised. I think
it looks great, and I’m glad to see someone else feels it is worth that much! Love the yellow.
