In the late 70s and early 80s, Momo produced a series of special edition steering wheels named for F1 drivers. There is a Momo Andretti, Momo Stewart, Momo Lauda, to go with the Momo Villeneuve model. I would not think this wheel was hand-signed by Villeneuve, but that the signature is a print as part of the limited production process. There were also special edition Momos for Regazzoni, Peterson, and Ickx too.

Below are the Andretti (duh! ;) ), Ickx, Peterson, and Regazzoni Momo wheels:

Hello This is from my collection. I purchased every item along years of searching for the best momo wheels. This is an incredible coincidence that it with his signature was made in the same days of Gilles missing.... ! Thanks for attention to this so singular piece!

All right what you say! I 've one or 2 of all the Momo signature wheels, including the other 2 versions of the Villeneuve. Of course the signes of the drivers were stamped on the front central spoke. Thanks for the posted pics on the thread GordonC!
