Renowned Italian publisher Giorgio Nada, founder of the automobile book empire Giorgio Nada Editore in Vimodrone, Milan, passed away today, due to the Coronavirus.
Giorgio was a real Italian Signore and published in 1992 my book "Ferrari by Vignale".

Below photo was taken in Brescia 16 May 2001, Giorgio Nada is on the left, I am in the middle and on the right legendary Ferrari gentleman racer and textile magnate Giannino Marzotto.

My sincere condolences to the Giorgio Nada family.
Giorgio, please rest in peace. Thank you for what you did for me.

I have quite a few of his books, some of which are truly landmark volumes in the Ferrari world, and unlike some European publishers, he was willing to offer many of his books translated into English, which I appreciated.

    Riposare In Pace, Giorgio.

When I first entered collecting his mark was an assurance you were buying the highest quality of both product and presentation.

    Have so many titles...
RIP Sir, a life well lived...

Met him just once in the Milan store but he certainly made an impression, we had a great chat. A key person in documenting Italian automotive history, RIP Sir.
