    the Giovanni sponsored race car will be at Giovanni's Thursday evening. the team, ( which I am memner of ) will be at Road Atlanta all day Thursday filing for the tv show Sports Car revoluition, and THursday evening we are loading up one of the cars and taking it to Giovanni's for some photo ops for Vinny and also so his workers can see the car they are sponsoring.

    everyone here is invited to come check out the car if you arent planning on going to the Mitty.

    Natually, the car is a Lotus. I know, it doesnt make sense having an Italian pizzaria sponsor a British car, but Viny is a racing fan and besides, there arent any local Ferrari race teams entered at the Mitty. whats up with that ?

    Hi Bob, probably between 6:30 and 7:00. by the time we leave the track after practice and get in that horrible traffic it will be dinner time before we get to Giovanni's.

    Yes I believe we will......... just wasnt sure if the wife was working or not (NOT)...so Im in for a nice pizza there.

    traffic south shouldn't be that bad from Braselton down 285 to Suwanee..

    you DON'T want to be going north from the perimiter

    What time are things going on until?

    I have to pick my girlfriend up at the airport at 9:00pm and should get back around 9:45 ish.

    Brian....btw....... thanks for bringing the car by! Stephan, Jeff as always nice to see you guys out. We had a real nice time at dinner. (always a nice time to sit down and chat with folks)

    the Giovanni race car ran well all weekend. for the 1 hr endurance we started the 28 car field mid pack but managed to lead some laps when the caution came out. we dicided to stay out on the track for track position and come in for our stop during the next yellow flag. well, the next yellow flag didnt happen and we had to pit under the green. not good.

    I was fuel man and the air vent on the fuel jug was open so it took me longer to unload 5 gallons in the car. Plus some fuel ran down the jug and onto the car. Luckily, the official didnt see this or we would have had a stop and go.

    still. we had a driver change, car ran well, pulled 440 horses well and we finished 5th. the 935 delaminated a tire going into turn 10 so we passed him for position. it was a great day.

    the tv show sports car revolution will be showing the eipside using our car as the feauture on 5/17 at 7:30.
