So how did you get a Ferrari? What do you do for a living or did you ripoff your old man in a divorce?

I am new so I don't know, but maybe you should adjust your original post before more people read it? It is pretty harsh. Why not just ask the question and toss the extra stuff?

Can't now. Edit button is not accessible now. So I guess I'll rephrase it here:

So how did you get a Ferrari? What do you do for a living?

i would have chose to phrase the question differently though i understand the point... after all, and as messed up as it is, many women get rich from divorces.

I get the feeling from this and the other thread (dealing with same topic) we need a reality check regarding men and women.
I submit that many of the men posting on this forum were born into affluent families, and only a few started from scratch. I might be wrong, but based on events I have attended and what I have read here, I believe those who would throw stones at the women who own Ferrari's, may wish to move out of their glass houses. Best

I'm a female. I don't "own" a Ferrari as I'm too young, but my dad has owned 2 and will be inheriting his 328 hopefully (I cherish that beauty!). I think it's unfair & distasteful to call women out like this. Are we not good enough to own Ferrari's? A lot of women have amazing careers these days and make very good money. This isn't the 1700's. Yes, some women marry rich men and get Ferrari's that way, or screw them in a divorce & then get tons of their money. But *gasp* some women actually LOVE their husbands who sometimes just happen to be wealthy. I am kind of tired of men whining about women marying wealthy men or getting rich from a divorce. Boo hoo. Men should know what they are getting into. I don't see why a woman shouldn't get money after a divorce, especially if she'd been married a long time to him. Or if she didn't sign a pre-nup or any other agreement. I do agree it is sad when a woman pounces on a wealthy guy just for money. Anyways some women also inherit money. Men can also get rich those ways. You can't just judge each woman with a Ferrari. You have no idea how they got it. Which i guess is why you're asking this. I guess I should ask every man how they got their Ferrari? And accuse them of getting it a certain way.

Again, yes, I'm a female. I like Ferrari's. Never in my life have males ever made me feel uncomfortable about it. They usually think it's cool that I know so much about them and have a passion for these cars. It's male dominated, of course, but I see no problem with a woman owning a Ferrari whether she bought it or her husband did. I don't see many women with Ferrari's anyway to be honest. I don't really care though. People should buy what they like.

I'm not going to beat you up anymore about how you worded it though. It's all good as far as I am concerned. You did correct it in a later post.

There are lots of ways women can afford Ferrari's - the same ways a man can too.

Lots of rich people in the world. Some of them are women, some of them are men.

Sorry if this post seems defensive, I'm just giving my thoughts. I don't think you'll get too many replies from women on here. Think about the ratio of men to women on this site! I don't even care about all the crap i'll probably get for this response.

I think this would be better suited in "Ferrari Discussion"...after all...not all women who own Ferrari's own a 360 or 430...

By the way, there are women out there who made their money and bought their husbands their Ferrari's too...like Britney Spears and Kevin Federline and I think Jessica Simpson had bought one for Nick Lachey when they were married too...Famous people aside, I also know of a couple other women who bought Ferrari's for their husbands as well...

The bolded part is the source of why threads like these get started and why I have no sympathy for the flack women catch for it. For me to explain myself in detail would set off a huge argument so I'm not going to do it unless you want me to.
