Hey to the 360-430 guys -

I wanted to bring to your attention the new Girodisc F360-F430 2pc rotors. Available drilled or slotted-

Check them out in full detail in the new Girodisc sponsor forum
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141505

They are explained in detail there, but in summary :
THEY COST LESS THAN THE OE ROTORS AT A DEALER! and work better in every way.

Also shown below are our new Girodisc pads with wear sensors imbedded and anti-noise shims adhered to the back! OE quality at lower cost!

    Cheers
    Eric

    Thanks guys.

Maybe we can team up and make some carbon hats. Do you have access to an autoclave?

    Cheers

    Hi Eric,

I read your posts in both forums, but I didn't get a clear reading on what
is improved between this new rotor and your previous Girodisc rotors for
the 360. I have your previous version (9months now) and have been
    very happy with them. Thanks.

    Hi Lou,

The new version is not new from your set. it has just taken us this long to get some type of formal announcement out for some little things.

We use Fchat as our primary source to reach Ferrari owners for all our Ferrari products.

There are some small changes to the drill pattern which we now offer after we find that most customers want it (even after expounding the fact that slotte is the better choice endlessly), but the customer is always right.

Otherwise, your version is the same in design and manufacture.

Send us some pics of your car and the rotors on them! We love to see the units in action.

    Cheers
    Eric

Nice, I hate Cross Drilled. Stress risers are a no no.

Thanks Eric. Sorry it took so long to post this response, but here's a pic of the rotors after 9 months, 6330 miles, includes 4 track days (2 at Roebling Road with 3 drivers across multiple run groups, 2 at VIR with just me driving).
I've been very pleased with the rotors.

Here's some quick measurements you might find interesting:
    Rotor thickness (mm):
    Front: 27.5mm Rear: 27.57mm

Front pads (Porterfield R4 after 1 track day at VIR)
new: 14.8mm end of day: 13.34mm

I use Porterfield R4S pads on the street, R4 at the track days. When using the R4 pads, I also use your titanium shields.

The photo of the front wheel is while still dirty from a day at the track last week. The rotor photo is after cleanup as I was changing back to street pads. The photo of the pad shows the R4 pad after the day at VIR. The photo of the car on track was at Roebling this past October.

BTW, I should mention that I used my everyday Pirelli p-zero tires at VIR, but used my track wheels with Kumho V710s at Roebling ... hence the different wheels in the two photos.

    Hey thats great Lou!

Glad you are happy with the rotors. And glad to have another customer who puts in some track time!

As we promote, the rotors are running cooler and wearing slower than the OE units.

With multiple track days you have only used 0.5 mm from the front rotors. The OE units run hotter and burn up the pads and wear out much quicker.

The nice thing will be when the time comes to change the rotors (eventually), the cost of replacing the iron ring and hardware will be a fraction of replacing OE rotors.

    Keep up the good work!

    Cheers

    Eric
