Just curious on the forum’s thoughts ….
I’m kind of back-and-forth on this one. All things being equal, (except the year) price, specs, usage, both certified, etc.…
    2017 488
    Or
    2020 Portofino
Usage would be… Weekend cruising, no track, just for fun no crazy driving. No need for luggage, kids, etc.…
Please let me know your thoughts and why? Thank you all for any help

Wow! Talk about a win win! Either way you’ll get an amazing car, but for my two cents the. 488 by a long shot as it seems more like a competition car.

488 all day every day. Beautiful design, comfort, reliability, performance and everything else that constitutes a spectacular super sports car!

488 for me as well. Just a lot sexier and more exotic looking. The Portofino blends in a bit better with everything else in the road

Top down cruising in the Portofino with enough fasts for spirited driving seems like a good compromise if the 488 hasn’t won you over. Best to drive them both and see what happens.

488 but get the spider to have the best of both worlds.

Portofino. It suits what you mentioned. Comfortable, reliable, fantastic GT, gorgeous design that’s classy everywhere you go, high performance, …

Love the 488. Had the Porto for a week, bored out of my mind. It's a nice car, but not very exciting.

The 488 is very comfy and will do anythjng the Porto will do, just better. Get the Spider.

Also, the 488 has more luggage space than you would ever need. Fits a weeks worth of roadtrip luggage.

From a design point alone, the 488. Otherwise, if you’ll never track it and are considering the coupe and not 488 spider….then go with a portofino.

oh my, so different cars. I would test drive both and listen to your heart. It will speak louder (and truer) than a bunch of strangers on an internet forum.

    Cheers
