    Here in the Florida panhandle, we have a car-guy group called Gulf Coast Exotics and we get together once a month to catch up on whats been going on, go for a nice drive, have lunch, etc. Well, when I called my friend Aaron to confirm a trip to his shop South Georgia Corvette, he let me know that a young kid (Garth) with MS who was not expected to make it to this age had made a request through Make-a-Wish to ride in a Viper. Aaron's Vipers are no ordinary Vipers, many in the 700-900 HP range.

    Well, our visit made Garths day very special. Not only did this young kid get to ride in a Viper, but a Ford GT, Ferrari 348, and others. I think he left with a huge smile!

    I was signed up with Make a Wish for many years and took some kids with problems MUCH bigger than ours out for thrill rides.

    Feels good, don't it?

    Excellent job, and great pics - Garth looks happy, if not a bit overwhelmed :)

    The cool part about this (maybe not communicated well above) is that when Garth arrived at the shop, he still only thought is was a ride in a Viper. Minutes later, all of these other cars show up! Garth's parents were speachless.

    It was an awesome way to spend the day!

    It's amazing what a little ride in a car can do for someone isn't it? Good for you gents for sharing and making Garth's day!!!! That was really a nice varied get-together too!
