I am looking to pick up a Mercedes GL450 in the next week. Anyone have experience with these. Just received Motortrends SUV of the year. John
my best friends mom drives one and has 22,000 miles on it and it is a 2006 model. She has no problems with the car and loves it. BTW I recommended the gl450 to her.
Just a tip, if you are buying a VERY heavy SUV, purchase it with the largest engine available. I's go for the 500/550. BTW a friend purchased a GL last spring and is very happy with it so far. Seem so have good reliability with no issues. Darrell.
No dice - the only available engine so far is a 335-horsepower 4.7-liter V8. The 5.5-liter V8 that all the "550" models now use, which has 382 horsepower, isn't available on the GL, or on any Mercedes SUVs yet.
True... I have a Ferrari 550, I don't need a GL550. The Gl450 drives very well with the torque it has. I hear the GL550 will be out in Aug, but I have no need to wait.
Actually the only thing I didn't like about the GL450 was the lack of torque. I had thought the 550 was out by now, didn't realise they were not available yet. The rest of the car was nice. But if you don't need to tow or actually use it as a SUV, it's ok. Darrell.
opps my fault! she got it in the summer. (she is a "ceo" mom) and drives very far. her business is 20 miles away. and I go to andover, why do you ask?
Your numbers don't add up, Vik. Driving 20 miles each way for work, even if it's every day, doesn't add up to 22,000 miles. Also, since she "got it in the summer", I'm guessing that she's had it 8 months at best? Does she drive 80+ miles per day, every day?
oh yeah, they won all but the homecoming game this season. They have former lions coach steve mariucci 's son on the team.
enjoy that little bubble while u can. is toma still the principal? bang every girl u can no matter how ugly. once your in college nobody will care.
um....I know that there are hundreds on chaldians in my school. there is even a chaldian "hallway". And about the cellphone thing, There is no such memory of a cell phone being bigger than a fingernail.
i guess that explains the drop from in ranking from the 60's to the 150's / of the 200 top high schools. what about lahser ? consider yourself (your parents ) lucky to be able to attend a public high school
John- I think you'll be very pleased with the GL450. I got one in July and have been quite impressed. Plenty of torque, plenty of HP and excellent fit and finish. Good luck.
Hey Vic! Looks like I am always a few months behind you on my vehicle purchases. What color did you get?
