    well,we all now that JV an and ralf uses contact lenses. just a ques, the usage of glasses, during races, is it allowed? i watched a programme on espn just a few days ago, and i think it was a le man endurance race, i saw this guy with glasses driving. so, it it permitted to use glasses during races, particularly in F1?

    I used to race motorcycles and more always wore contacts....because I can see better with them, no lines at the edge of the glass making my peripheral vision uncorrected.

    I know that you can wear glasses while competing in their racing programs. If your glasses are perscription, then you have to have it on file with them. They use to reccommend that you wear safety glasses, if you wear glasses.

    Barrichello also uses contact lenses.
    There is other drivers too...
