Glickenhaus' SCGs

I love his blue carbon CS 003- but I have to wonder if there were issues actually getting them production ready. Jim claimed quite a few sales when it was released, but it seems none of them were actually made.

In regards to 004s, I have the same production concerns. Their last post about production was a month and a half ago, which considering how frequent they were prior to that point is concerning.

 

was a don quixote project from the start but the (pretty successful) lemans effort might have taken some of their attention off the road cars. wish them all the luck but old saying of how to make millions in car biz is to start with billions might hold true here again. criticize all you want but tesla is so incredible.

 

wow, never would expect to see Jim let this one go. ....... probably burning thru millions between racing and car production. (too many models all at once before many sold/shipped?)

Have there been any customer deliveries of the 004?

 

No. Even though he initially claimed the gold car was the “first delivery”. To my knowledge, no road leagal glickehaus has been delivered to anyone not affiliated with the company, ever.

Lost me at the ridiculous side pipes---Clenet ish..also, the design is 60's Ferrari- or Intermecchnica--Jim can do better than this
