Anyone have info on this car company and our the owner JOHN? Been getting dicked around pretty good by these guys..... Any info would be great..... Thanks Roy Cats Seattle
i am in houston and i don't know of them. having said that, i can't attest they are worthless, but not having heard of them speaks volumes.
+1 Roy, anything we can do??? Houston is a huge clearing house for cars, my neighbors run a US/Saudia deal that loads four full trucks a day......... I never see my Cavallino magazine, if the post man makes a mistake!
So far they HAVE a terrible BBB record and I have not heard anything good about them from anyone. I sent my Lamborghini Roadster 2006 to the OWNER, he wanted to buy it. ON a Gentlemans agreement he would wire funds on MONDAY. I reluctantly let the car go from my lot here in Seattle because he had a truck in the area, trying to help him out and I still hold the title. No wire on Monday, wont take calls from us. BUT does have my car and is driving it around!! When you think you can work on a word........HELL But if he has a DEALER threats me another DEALER this way....... I can only imagine how bad his Retail customers get shafted!!!!!! Thanks for the help guys COLD IN SEATTLE
I just checked out their website. The first thing that made me laugh was the "National Headquarters" picture. The second thing that made me laugh was their Aston Martin insignia. See what it says under those wings? "Eyewear of Excellence" *Bwaahahaahah* Roy, I'm very sorry to hear about this. If I didn't have bronchitis, I'd be tempted just to go down there to see if the car is actually there.
Do you have the spare keys??? It could be back at your lot in four days, maybe less......... That's a lot of trust you have, my man!!!
12978 Sugar Ridge Blvd 77477 That's not Houston.......Sugarland? My KeyMap is in the other car.......... There's also a 'Global Motor Cars' three words, on Westheimer..............
*cracking knuckles* You know I was involved in tracking a certain missing Miura, here! It's home now, I saw it under a tarp...............
Well it looks like I am going to have to find a REPO person, overnight a key and let someone FIND the car and drive it away for me....... ANY TAKERS $1000.00 REWARD fee to anyone that grabs this car!! If you are serious, contact me, will give you all papers and documention required by Texas Law to pull the car...... Thanks Roy Cats Seattle 1-425-353-2287
I'd do it for you if I were closer to Houston. Let me know if no one else is willing to help you. I hope you don't let this change the way you do business. Because of your reputation, I know you'd be the first person I'd go to if I were in the market for a Lamborghini.
Does he have any documentation that youy gave him the car? If not, call the police and report a stolen car.
roy, the bbb here in houston is a scam run by very crappy people - not the same as other bbb's. i wouldn't go off of just that. the car place on westimer rents cars and doesn't sell them to my knowledge. i was across the street from there on saturday/sunday and didn't see a lambo. when did it leave you lot? what color?
What a crappy thing to do. I know exactly where that place is. I'll take a drive down there tomorrow just to have a look.
Well alittle update for you all As of 11:00PM Texas time........ Car has DISAPPEARED from the showroom. Owners daily driver is at the lot. Car is not at his home. Car is not at his Fathers home. Can only imagine what is up with it, probably going to need a new clutch...... CRAP CRAP CRAP Anybody spots it in the area let me know please. I am told he frequents the many Strip Clubs in the General Area......?
Geez, what a scumbag. Dealers like that is one of the reasons I left auto sales. I hope everything goes in your favor, Roy.
2006 Lamborghini Murcie Roadster in Pure Aspen White with 2007 LP 640 Gloss Black wheels on it, 6 speed. I bought the car from Nicolas Cage, Yes the Actor. It had 505 miles when I bought it.
If you want to ship me a new lambo, I promise I won't pay you either. Good Luck with this. I lost 20k myself a few years ago to some houston scammers.
Nothing NEW as of this time, 8:30AM Seattle time. Have SPD working on it, trying to locate the car........ Will post anything the minute I know..... I can not tell you guys how much it means to me to have all your support and concerns here.... THANKS THANKS THANKS THANKS
Hey man, I was serious.....although we won't be able to hit it with a rollback and 'snatch and grab'..... I'd be more inclined to face him, face to face, with HPD Auto Theft Division at my elbow and retrieve the vehicle, on your behalf .....in a Gentlmanly Way...if it's at the Gentleman's Club, so be it...... I have used HPD to verify my VINs for the Tax Office and such....nice guys there's only about four officers total...... This doesn't sound good at all it ducking cover......you know it can leave thru the Port and be overseas in a blink..........not that that's a comforting thought. You want me to call and get Houston Police in the loop?????? 'Time is of the essence' as we say in my business! *spoke with Roy on the phone, never mind*
Damn, I could have used the finders fee, but getting shot at takes professionals......LOL! Looks like Roy brought the Heat down on them thru appropriate Authorities....Sugarland is not far from Ferrari of Houston. I'd recommend Mr. Risi there, for a Safe Harbour if ya need one in the interum....he can park it with his MC12s...............
