do you get a set of key for the Glove box?
355 Spider. My mechanic ordered a new box for me...but either it didn't come with a set of keys or managed to misplace them.
Dude. Let me ask you one important question: Do you really need to have a lockable compartment in your soft top car?! I never locked my 348 Spider. Do you know how expensive a replacement top is? Rather, you should leave the glove box open and in view to show that there is nothing worth taking.
John: From your post, it appears that your mechanic should have ordered the lock and key set rather than a new glove box.
If they are two separate component then I'll just reorder the lock and key set. The mechanic installed the glove box with the lock set.
I'd search eBay. That is where I found my lock set two months ago. Eurospares will show them in stock but they are not.
