360 Glovebox latch - check the pin

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login If you’re having trouble with your glovebox door falling open even if things are lined up correctly, check the small pin that runs though the catch on the door. The little black bit in the photo below should have a pin supported by the bracket on both sides. Mine was broken on one end, allowing the catch to wiggle around and slip off the striker loop. Sorry, no photos were taken of the broken condition - but poke around with a screwdriver to trip the latch, you’ll know its broken if you see it - it looks super sloppy.
If it’s broken, you can drill out the head of the pin and press it out and replace with a M3 machine screw and nut.
