    Long ball was working tonight.

I hope they have starting pitching against the Cardinals.

The Rocket and Roy O must be tired.

    Go Astros !!!!

    Oh No.

After Clemens, and Oswalt start; is there anyone else B4 you get to Lidge ?

Backe was fairly good yesterday. But who can keep the lid closed B4 you
    get to Lidge ?

They will not make it; if nobody can step up. This is even worse with a three
man "tired" starting rotation. Who is going to pitch the 6th and 7th innings ?

    Oh No.

Great game this afternoon!! Clemens was on his stuff, and how about Lidge?! They really need to sweep these 3 games in the worst way. BTW, anybody see G Bush Sr. behind the plate whooping it up when Rocket finished up with a K?

    Go 'Stros!!

Did'nt see G. Sr. My son saw him after I walked out of the room. Clemens was a competitor. - As always. Lidge went after the batters. He did not want to go to 1 - 2. The batters would be down two strikes. He would go after them.

I hope someone else besides Beltran, can hit the ball (consistently). It is ashame they can only rent Beltran for the season. Clemens may not want to return; if they change up the team for economic savings.

What a homestand! But, as excited as I am about this series, I still can't help but dread what is probably inevitable this off season. Rocket,Beltran, and maybe even Biggio or Bagwell could be gone?!?! Reminds me of the Marlins after '01 :( It kills me! I've been a loyal 'Stros fan since I was a kid watching Phil Garner,Jose Cruz,Mike Scott,Glenn Davis, etc tear it up in the dome. And since I live in Nawlins I can't help but draw a few parallels with the Saints. :( LOL! Let's hope at least Big and Bag's stay! And I REALLY have to make it to a game in Minute Maid. (haven't made it to one yet:()

They cannot afford Beltran. Clemens is not going to want to play for a loser.

This is the big nagging problem in beisbol/baseball. The salaries are only going up and up. It has become a joke. I have no problem with the players making more money. The problem I have is with the league competitiveness as a whole. The small market teams have no way of winning. How long have the Pirates been in Pittsburgh ? When are they going to be World Series champions again ? When will the Yankees be World Series champions again ? and again ? and again ? and again ?

I laugh at how the post game press always tries to corner Beltran on whether he'll stay or not. Just let the guy play! Geez! I kinda get the feeling that Clemens may stay if they don't gut the team. Who really knows?!? I'm just enjoying the hell out of this series.

I think that since statistically we are going to the series, Beltran is going to stick around. He talks about how much he likes it here.

Tonight was an AWESOME win! AWESOME. Im grinning ear to ear.

    GO STROS!

Nice try, the statistics comment was made via information from the broadcast of the game on Fox tonight. 9 out of 11 times, the winners of a 2-2 tied series in game five advances to the Fall Classic.

What are you talking about? Are you so desperate to make comments about me that you have to make statements that dont make sense?

That was a very direct answer. Get over yourself, please. I've been very tollerant of your unwarranted abuse, yet you keep it up. Please, get over yourself.

    Geaux Astros !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an awesome game !!!!! That was exciting. Backe - WOW.

If that ball gets past Beltran - You have a runner on third or worse.

Kent. Nice job. Lidge is Lidge

Personally I would go with Clemens on Wedensday. Why hand the Cardinals Game 6. They have lost the momentum. Put Clemens on the hill for Game 6. Don't let the Cardinals get the momentum back. How many home teams lose game 7 ?

    BOOOYAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, that was one helluva game. One of the best pitching/defensive games I've seen in a long time. What a thrilling time to be a 'Stros fan! I just wish we could have held on in game 2. Can you imagine winning a series trip while at home? With the way they have dominated at home? The fans would still be there right now a 7AM still partying!

You're right, they gotta go with Rocket. Time to get serious. All we need now is for Boston to pull off a miracle run and eliminate those FILTHY G** D*** Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, they had a helluva season. Just a few games short. I fear that this was their one shot. You put Lidge in instead of Miceli in game 2, we're in the series. The one bright spot in the whole thing is that Boston SMOKED those Filthy Stinking Yankees!
