The Hawks have not won the cup since I've been alive, I'd love to see them as champions. GO HAWKS!
lolol Go Hawks! I'm all about it. I'm hoping for a Hawks and Montreal victory, although the later is unlikely, so I might be up there when they play during the F1 race... Did you go to any of the games?
Noel, Didn't want to say anything till the Finals, but its a great team. Have barely seen anything from Hossa and Kane either. Team was built for this year, so hopefully they find the Cup at the end cause the summer will look very interesting thanks to the cap.
I think you're probably correct but I hope Rocky is in it for the long haul and finds a way to keep this going. Two years ago you could roll a bowling ball in the isles now there is a two year waiting list for tickets.
I believe it was 1961 though I'm not positive. I've already grown my beard. Ok, I started growing it about 30 years ago.
Season ticket holder so I am excited other than I've been out of town for every home game since the first round. I will also miss the first two Cup games as I will be in Montreal Fri--Tues.
'61 is correct. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5215006&categoryid=2459791 Anyone else see this? There is a bunch of people on here with the "Most Interesting Man" avatar. I thought it was pretty funny.
I think this will be a time where you have to pay up. A friend of mine has taken me to a few games, including a second round game, but I'm not expecting any charity for the finals. I had Cubs tickets for 20 years, and in 2003 I had every person I ever met asking for "extras". Like it's an annual event!
I'm positive that the hawks are going to win the cup this year, that I'm actually bored to watch the rest of the games. Seriously.
I have and will always support Chicago's underdog teams. The Hawks are no longer an underdog team as I see it. The seasons past and up till the semi finals I was excited, but now the Hawks have matured and I just don't feel the same about them. Think Cubs fan I'm more excited to find out where there going to display the Stanley cup in Chicago.
If the Hawks win (and I'll try not to jinx the team by talking about it here), won't there be a Stanley Cup parade? I'd love that. I'd volunteer to drive in it!
BINGO! Not if they win, but rather after they win I to would love to be a part of the celebration downtown
