Apologies to all the Sox fans, but have to give a shout out to our underdog heroes - several of whom are part of Ferrari family. Fun to have them not only surviving, but kicking a**.

Go Red Sox Baby!! Cowboy up!!

Rays have had a hell of a year, they have done awesome. Still cannot believe they slaughtered us so bad last night, and esp. against Lester. We'll see what happens tonight, im praying Wakefield can deliver his best game.

    Game 4...

    So SOX!!

Hey, I love the city of Boston and will cheer them in series if they win. While boston is one team that has come back from 3-1 deficit several times, there's no Manny now, and I don't recall the previous series having such massive beatdowns as the past two nights. I think it's going to be hard to rally the troops - the Rays have to be in their heads.

Not having Manny is not hurting us at all. He is an awesome player when he wants to play, but the problem is, he only plays when he wants to. Unforunately, we have not had any of our key batters hitting.

Problem is, Rays are playing incredible and making very very few errors...to go to fenway and slaughter us 9 to 1 then 11 5 or whatever is just insane.

Very true but I was trying to be nice about it :D

Since florida only had 2 industries (construction / tourism) and now that one is gone (construction) and the other is very soft (tourism), the local area is one of the worst hit so far outside of someplace like detroit, so it's cool for the community to have the excitement.

Never loose hope, always believe in boston baby!!

damn did they find a hell of a time to break their slumps!!

I never gave up, was worried but never lost hope!

damn, do I feel disgusted for the stupid people that left the game, went to bed and will wake up tomorrow to find out we won!

Damn rays were just killing it..hitting everything!

a few major key errors and huuge hitters won.

    thanks,

its a marathon not a sprint.

problem is, practically everyone on the rays is hitting homers...im praying with last nights performance our slumpt hitters can dust off their arms and start hitting.

I think rays were like 35 HRs in the series compared to or 5, now its 42 to 13.

The game tonight was amazing. Boston had their heads in the entire game and basically won every inning. Way to go Boston! Let's go and win game 7, and go on to the World Series and dominate!

I gotta say, iv gone to every series this yr and a few last yr. Last Nights game was the funniest game I have ever been too!!

and that's not just bc we won, actually met a lotta great rays fans. Granted, iv been wearing my sox gear for 15 years and never have I had so many ppl want to fight me so bad as last night.

    great game!

Going tonight also, looking for another great, and most challenging game! this is the world series, despite who wins, no one in 3 years from now will know the phillies even played...only care bout sox and rays.

I got to the game at 5 last night, sat right at sox dug out, got pictures of everyone. it was awesome!!

    game 7, lets go SOX!!

Wow, that's awesome!! I completely envy you!! I have wanted to go to any playoff game that involves the Red Sox, but never had a chance. If there's any chance, could I have some of those pictures that you took?

I would like to congratulate the Rays organization, esp. Joe Madden and the players...an extremely young and very skilled team. My boys were out played but never gave up, Boston always believes,we never loose hope! Being a Red Sox fan is purely passion, loyalty and comradery! Knowing that no matter what you look like, who you are, where you are, if you have anything BoSox then straight high fives all the time. We came back from another great deficit but did not pull it off. Rays playe well all year, fist fight all year and they came out on top. Going to every series sox were in town and the greatest memory thus far of my experience was going to game 6 and game 7 of the ALCS!

Congrats to the organization, to the few REAL rays fans, CONGRATS!

You did not take it at Fenway and that is the most important thing...

Just remember this, never tell a team that has been around for over 100 years they suck or they are lucky...

Ill be there next week with my red sox gear on, as ever so proudly as always!!

    Theres always next year!

"Our Father, who art at Fenway...
    Baseball be thy game.
    Thy Kingdom come,
    Playoffs to be won,
On Earth, then on to the Cask 'n' Flagon.

Give us this day, a perfect Papi,
    And forgive us our losses,
    As we forgive those,
    Like Bill Buckner.

And lead us not, into desperation,
But deliver us from any losses.

    For thine is the Power,
    And the Glory,
    To beat the Yankees,
    Forever and ever....the Yankees..."

After a decade of being the minority in Tropicana Field cheering for the local guys as a MINORITY during sox and yanks games, it's cool that they filled the house cheering for the Rays.

One things for sure, bay area needs the infusion of cashflow and emotional lift more than Boston (I'm a fan when they're not playing my teams); our recession started 3 yrs ago.

With the world series and the super bowl back again, cashflow will give a great uprise.

Unfortunately for myself, the tickets will most likely stay at premium for the world series apose to game 7 where tickets were selling as cheap at $20 2 hours before first pitch....

True...a friend of mine has his WS tix sold for something like $4k each - face value $150. It will be fun beating the Phillies for the pennant, after beating them to get to the super bowl! Only because their fans are a bunch of jackasses. Boston (and most yank) fans are passionate but cordial. Philly a bit more krass.

Hmmm... feels like they left their bats in Tampa. Hopefully we can get one in Philly. Crowd seemed respectable compared to Veterans Stadium group when the bucs played up there.
