What's the price on their organic street clutch?

    ...this is heart breaking.

I hope someone can continue on what he has engineered. He is the "Hill" of clutch's...

Any particular reason you chose organic over kevlar? MD seems to have nothing but good things to say about their kevlar

As I recall, they said the Kevlar will eat up the pressure plate and flywheel surfaces. You certainly don't want those to be the sacrificial surfaces for street use.

You might be confusing ceramic with kevlar.

Lighter flywheel is tempting but I've read of so many driveshaft failures I don't have confidence in it (well maybe not yet).

I think Bruce posted at one point he had a Michelotto setup that had a fix for this but didn't mention what the fix was.

Right your are! I forgot about the ceramic. That was a lot of video watching for me (and all good). A pity a great resource like MD may disappear soon because of retirement.

Simply not true. Very much the opposite.

Honestly, I didn't want to spend to much, I had already dumped a lot into the car that month. Looking back I regret not getting the Kevlar clutch from him. They last x2 as long.

The break in period for Kevlar is almost impossible with our cars. If I remember correctly it's like 500 miles of easy driving to do it properly or it'll wear father than organic. That also leads to the question of how many miles extra do you get out of it when most of our cars all well under 50k miles.

I believe Tim's challenge car had a light-weight clutch and flywheel from that one GT company in germany. Stock driveshaft snapped at the track. The company came out with a stronger driveshaft. Might be in Tim's car.
