    Hi all

I am going to Maranello in 2 days, and I have a question. Lately, I have seen pictures from Maranello and infront of the Café next to the Galleria, theres a 355 and 430 parked. I have heard, that you can pay to drive them yourself, and that they are there every day? Does anyone know anything about this, and if it's true?.. and what does it cost? :D

    Best Regards
    Jonas

I saw a couple of rental Ferraris in front of the souvenir shop near the Galleria. I think the cost is 400 Euros per hour, but I am not positive. I think there is more than one place in town where a Ferrari can be rented. I haven't done it myself so I am not an expert.

    100 euros for 15 min.
The car is parked in front of the Warm-UP Memorabilia shop across the parking lot from the Galleria.

100 Euros? What about the 355? Is that the same price?

Have a great trip Jonas. If you make it back to Dallas, there are plenty of new rides for you to try.

    had an awesome trip.

We arrived at noon, just as a helicopter arrived at Fiorano. I don't know who was in it, but I have a hunch it was Schumacher as testing began shortly after. And I don't presume a normal tester gets flown in by helicopter? But as said, testing begin after the helicopter took off again, and a 599 FXX took to the track. It did some hot laps, 10 of them - and then it drove by the fence where all of us were standing (Specs :D) at a really slow pace, as it was for our sake. He then drove a lap more, and did a insane burnout and donut at the end of the straight, almost sending him into the dirt (the backend went out there :)) and testing stopped (Picked up again some hours later)

We then went to the galleria as always (3rd time) saw the cars there, and went to get something to eat in centre of Maranello. We had a good pizza, and walked around a bit and saw some testing of California's, a Scud and a F450 test mule. Sadly, I have not gotten the pics into my Mac yet, but will post them here as soon as possible. I did not get a photo of the test mule sadly :(

I then drove a yellow 430 Spider, and tared up the streets of Maranello. I was told I was a very good driver by the owner (Thanks :D) It was my first time driving a 430, having driven a lot of other models, it was an awesome experience driving this screaming V8.

    Thanks everyone. :)
