Hi guys, first post here. Seems a busy forum, I love that it tests my knowledge of US states too lol (I am British)

Thought I'd introduce myself to get the ball rolling on owning my first Ferrari. I am a huge car enthusiast and whilst owned some powerful and fun cars have never had the privilege of owning something as prestigious as a Ferrari.

Now in millionaire world it'd be a hard choice between an F12 or F458 spider but I am just not on that level!

So the beautiful F355 is what I have my heart set on and with ever increasing prices I really need to be getting one sooner rather than later.

So I guess I'll start with what's it like owning one? It won't be a daily driver but it will be used regularly, I want to enjoy the car come rain or shine not lock it in a air conditioned, moisture controlled hanger (not that I own one)

    James,

    Welcome to FerrariChat!

    It's a great place... you'll enjoy it.

You may want me to move this to the 355 section of the forum, where specific model owners post.

    If so, let me know.

    Mike

It took me 10 days to two weeks to read enough on the 355 forum to feel qualified to buy. I did. I'm happy. (Many of the threads lead to another, older thread, but if you're seriously looking, it's interesting.)

    Welcome.
I think the most Ferrari enthusiasm here comes from owners of the older cars.
If 355's are going up then its probably not a bad idea to lock in.
On the other hand you could continue to salt away that .05% the banks are generously offering ;)
