    Its ski season !!!!

I'm gonna carve up the Andes in Bariloche, WAY down south

I've been training hard for 3 weeks so I can shred the mountain when I get there

Will have plenty of pics soon

Las Lenas was my 1st choice

I was going to do Portillo in Chile if I couldn't get to Bariloche

I hear that Portillo is very nice though Ive never been there

I usually go to Las Lenas, there are plenty of Olympic teams practicing down there now and 100s of South Americans who can barely stand on ski's

    Makes me look fantastic LOL

If you are going for purely the skiing, I would pick Portillo again and again.

If you want skiing plus some additional sight seeing, expanded night life, and just generally more to do then go to Bariloche.

My first time on skis was in Portillo. The place is magical but very isolated. I've also been to Bariloche and it is awesome for a whole other set of reasons. Again, really depends on what you're looking for.

    Have fun!

Bariloche is drop dead gorgeous, reminds me a lot of Tahoe and Courmayeur

The snow is mediocre, lots of ice and some rocks and grass poking through

Worst thing is they have no snow making machines which seems pretty dumb, but the view & the food are beyond compare

stay at LLao LLao, it's great. Bariloche is a fun place, I'm curious to hear how it compares to the others.
