    Hey all!

I am about 1 step away from owning this 360. I've been going back and forth with the seller for quite some time and we have finally agreed on a price.

The PPI should be done by tomorrow. I tried to get the PPI done at Blackhorse but it appears they are no longer there so I brought it to someone named Johnny at JCM off Broward Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. He seems like a nice guy so we will see what comes back... I figured it would be a good idea to see if any of you had any info on it. Here is the VIN #ZFFYU51A1Y012180

    I appreciate any info.....

Looks good, get the PPI for sure!!

I am also not a fan of the sunroof, not many were made with this option.

Thanks for the input thus far guys... I am excited about this purchase. In fact, I've been looking forward to this moment since I was 12 year old. As far as the sunroof goes I've done a lot of reading about it on this forum. From what I can tell those who have it absolutely love it. Those who don't hate it... so whatever that means. I personally love it especially living in South Florida.

On a side note, I just signed up with Hagerty Insurance... any input or thoughts on them? As I figured this isn't an ALLSTATE car...

I just signed up with Hagerty as well for the 430. The only thing I didn't like is they are pretty restrictive on where you drive it. Asked me a lot of questions about how I was going to use it, what clubs I was in, can't leave it in parking lots, etc.

Built in September, 2000 (engine number 59201, assembly number 38897), this car was delivered new to a guy named Dave in Chicago through Lake Forest, on 23 November 2000.

In August, 2005, it was for sale through Lake Forest, with 5,872 miles.

In January, 2006, it was purchased from Sport Auto in North Carolina by a Pennsylvania gentleman named Craig.

In September, 2007, it was for sale through Lamborghini Chicago with 8,475 miles, for $129,900.

In May-June, 2008, it was for sale through Marshall Goldman Motor Sales in Warrensville, OH, with 8,653 miles.

In September, 2009, it was on eBay through EuroCar of Costa Mesa, with 9,041 miles. I saw it a couple of days after the auction started at an independent service shop: black with black leather, power Daytona seats, red piping, red carpets, no shields, standard wheels, red calipers, Challenge grille, sunroof, books, tools, records, two keys and remotes. EuroCar still had it for sale on eBay a week later.

Tom Siciliano of Naples, FL, put it on eBay in June, 2011, with 13,965 miles, for $72K. Four months later it was for sale at Florida Luxury Cars of Pompano Beach, with 14,000 miles.

Black beauty! Gotta love black ;) - although it's a b*tch to clean.
430 wheels look great and has the necessary Challenge grill.
    Enjoy!

    Wow,

That was pretty impressive... damn. Not sure how you got all that info but cool either way thank you. I was actually able to track down the previous owner out of Naples and got to pick his brain on the phone about the car for almost an hour. He was actually really nice and happy to talk about it. From the sounds of it, the car seems to be a solid no issue car. It also seems as though new belts and clutch were put in the car less than 1,000 miles ago before he sold it to the dealer. I am trying to track them down now to confirm. Thanks guys!

Actually I know this is going to be a stupid question but please keep in mind that this is my first go around at this...

Do I need to find a detailer that specializes in exotic cars? I don't want some dip**** to destroy it now that I think about it.... question answered..

If you aren't going to do it yourself, it is best to get someone with some experience - Most importantly what chemicals to use and not ruin engine paint or wheels, etc. Also would know best how to get a good shine and reduce swirl marks - Things that aren't as important on other cars, but an F-Car you want to be special and looking its best.

In the end though, it is just a car - Paint is paint, but a higher end detailer could probably do a better job and have more experience with exotics.

Why not an Allstate car? I have been happy with them and the Ferrari was easy to add to the policy.

    Allstate is affiliated with Hagerty.

I looked into all the specialty insurances and they were very restrictive in terms of where I can drive the car - most will not let you commute, go out to dinner, trips etc. Travelers was just a little more and had no restrictions. Hagerty and other collectors insurance had what looked like better replacement policy but figured it wasn't worth it to not be able to drive my car when and where I want to.

I have Allstate for my 430 (and other cars). It's around $500/year, no big deal.

Yeah I've always been real happy with their pricing. We have Life/Jewelry/Home/Auto with them, so the multiple policy thing helps the rates out a fair amount. Their biggest discounts come from having a clean driving record though, so as long as I don't screw that up...

I have ALLSTATE, they were very competitive in my area beating Hagerty in price and coverage.
