YAY! It's an honor to have you post here. Antony - once the rollercoaster that is your business gets to where you can get off - hop on the plane... I look forward to seeing a more recent pic of you and yours.
Hi Steve My sister (Antony's mum) doesn't have the internet (although its on its way to her as she can't bare to be kept out of this Email loop!) so in answer to your question..... the photo was taken on holiday in Devon (I was there too if I recall although only about 12 years old at the time). I was just on the phone to her when your message came up so I promised her I'd respond for her. I think she should apologise publicly for her fashion sense but hey it was the '80's so we'll forgive her! I've been reading all the postss on this thread and really can't quite beleive the efforts you guys all went to. The responses were so acurate it was unreal at times. Antony has a really nice family in England...all normal people with normal lives all waiting keenly to meet him! His mum nearly died on the spot when my mum and dad showed her a picture of Antony - she was soooo pleased and excited. His younger sister is a great girl and really looks like him too. Anyway ... I hope that answers your question? Antony - if you read this then 'hi' again! Sarah
Oh Boy! Nice normal people waiting to see their long lost, LA living, Prada wearing entrepeneur! I can't wait to hear about this Antony! Seriousely though, he's a great gentleman and I wish him all the best. They'd better get on his dance card now, he's going far! DMAX
Just so you don't worry unduly there is Prada in my wardrobe too!! I'm trying to think of an American equivalent of our family to give you a picture but the 'Adam's Family' keeps springing to mind - just kidding before you get too scared!!
Hey! They have TALL girls in the UK?????? You guys never told me THAT! Saw this thread pop up and I am overjoyed at this result! Congrats to all! Although no one lives the same circumstances, I have been reunited with my oldest daughter, after missing her childhood from infancy and there is not anything like welcoming one "back home"......of course there is a spot in your heart for them....as I expressed to her, it was there all the time.... So I'll drop back out of Anthony's thread, but could not help but support all the quality folks I see in here...the usual suspects, as they say.... From Texas, over and out....... Alan, with Scott, Amanda, and finally...Renee

Hi Finally I have managed to get online at a friends house. Yes, I may be a T Rex, but I look really good for it. And yes my age is 44, but i still look 24 , . As I look in the picture, I still look now... I think it has been fantastic, all the people on this thread, and your efforts Antony that went into finding me. You guys are great... hugs and kisses Carol xox Mum
Hi Antony, I have sent a personal message as well but just wanted to say how pleased I am that a piece of the jigsaw in your life has been completed. Firstly, what great friends you have surrounded yourself with, not just for the assistance in trying to help but for the genuine friendship they provided! I saw some posts from others who wanted to "caution" you about the future based on thier own experiences, but fate deals different hands to us all; maybe their futures will be brighter (hopefully). It is stange reading the history of how we arrived at this position but I am so pleased you did'nt give up, I think your friends deserve a pat on the back for this, as they, like you, never gave up. Hopefully, when the opportunity arises you will be able to visit the UK very soon; do not worry about trains or taxis or how to get to places, there will be more than enough of us to collect you from the airport and run you around. We all live extremely close to each other and Colchester is a great place to live (just happens to be the oldest town in England, still a Roman wall here; gasps with amazement). Anyway Antony, please keep in touch and wish you well. Ray, Debbie & Family
What a great thread! It's kind of amazing to see it go full circle and actually have your lost-long Mom pop in on the thread that started it all.
absolutely This is without doubt the best thread ever on here Antony get yourself over here already I can sense a bit of a welcoming party waiting for you m8
What he said me and Tony for one? or is that two? will be waiting to see you and your family mate, so stop waiting and get your butt over here
Hi Antony, I'm your cousin Lucy; Ray's daughter. I'm 14 and have just spent half an hour reading all these comments from over 2 years ago! It's really strange how it's all came together and it will be great to actually meet you in person! I'm the youngest of four, Gary 26, Emma 24, Amy 17(18 in October 12), I'm still at school while everyone else has gone out and got great jobs Emma is currently working as an Air Hostess for Virgin Atlantic, so you never know she could be on your flight back to London? She's actually flying out to L.A on the 9th October so maybe you could arrange something if you really wanted? We really would love to see you soon as I have never met you in person before! love Lucy x x x x
Hi you guys out there. This is antonys mum... If you all keep posting, maybe antony will get his butt over here. We must imagine he may feel overwhelmed as he has a massive family over here. Can someone tell me how you all know antony... Or is it just through the forum? Does anyone know him personally? Again I do thank you all. Carol
I met? Antony through our love of Ferrari's even though i have not met Antony in person i feel i know him well enough to be able to have the honour of calling him a friend when that day comes that he gets his butt over here i will really look forward to meeting Antony and perhaps all of you also.
Un-bloody-real! First it's Pistonheads helping to raise over £60,000 in one and a half days for the Air Ambulance Service following Richard Hammonds horrific crash ... Now (thanks to TonyH) I read this!!!!! Unbelievable ... never underestimate the effect that the internal combustion engine has had on humanity! The boys have done good, no doubt about it. Good luck Antony. Oh and "Antony's Mum" - watch out for that SteveF ... he's an absolute Love God!
Awesome thread. Absolute tear jerker for me. Amazing work by everyone, who's going to start contacting a Hollywood Producer to turn it onto a film TonyH give me a shout if you need a Ferrari Posse on tow, the big banana is waiting !!
Dear All We thought that a pic of Antony's Grandparents who have been looking for him for almost 2 decades mignt be of interest to you all. Nan tried the Montel show, Tricia, and various other means, whilst I tried through other channels. Luckily we had the pictures and information that only Antony would know - which bought the last pieces of the jigsaw together. We were trying to get Antony over here for his half-sister's 18th Birthday, which we had to keep totally secret from the rest of the family (even his Mother) - but, unfortunately due to work pressures, Antony was not able to come over to the UK at that time. Still, we have always cherished the wonderful memories of Antony as a baby and a little lad. Antony has promised that we will not be forgotten when he does come over here, and , when you think about it , Carol and Antony , as in all families ,wouldn't be here without us ( the Grandparents) Image Unavailable, Please Login
