Hey all, Going to Italy today, and offcause down to the factory again.. There's no other way.. unfortunately the last time I was there, I didn't get to see all the things I wanted to. (The Museum and the factory itself) - But I've heard of two body shops and repair shops that is a visit worth, where are those? - Fiorano is a must also, but I know where that is so no adress necessary here - Also, where is the Pagani and Lambo factory situated?
hi, if you have some time left, and all the rest is closed, go and see the Enzo Ferrari grave at the cimatery of Modena......... most don't go there, i was, it is as the man was, amazing...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry buddy, I`m not kidding. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Zanasi factory is closed and for sure also Fiorano. The Galleria is still open for the tourists! (Every year for the whole August!)
Yeah, it sucks... well, do anyone know which ferraridealers there are situated in the cities down there then? (Modena, Bologna, Ravenna and so on) - If any at all..
I am not sure! But I believe that this is the case. That means that this coming friday will be the last day that the factory is open. But to visit the factory you need an invitation first. I don't think that they can manage this within such short notice. I also don't know what happens to the store and the Galleria. I would not be surprised if they stay open.
Oh, no no.. I don't want a tour, I don't own a Ferrari, so that's not an option for me.. I just want to be down there and visit Maranello while there are activity.. Mules driving on the streets, and maybe a car or two on Fiorano.. So if the Factory is open, im satisfied.. I am almost certain to see a ferrari or many.
There will always be Ferrari's in Maranello. I once arrived at the gate of the factory when it was closed for holidays and still saw many Ferrari's. Good luck and have fun!
Thank you both, I will be sure to take lot's of pictures so I can report back here when I come home.. I will be leaving in about 6 hours, and I will be sure to get to Maranello before the factory closes -- I know there probably are many ferrari's anyway, but there's bound to be more when they are open.. Maybe even some "new" ones
Jonas, I will be there in Sept because the factory is closed in August but the Gallaria and shops will be open. I'm waiting to hear back from Ferrari as to when I can get the tour of the factory.
Not stupid. I didn't know either. You see your local dealer and provide them with your ownership. They take care of the rest and inform you what day and time to attend for the tour. You are allowed a few visitors as well. I was worried because I don't service my car at the dealership, but they had no issue with that (at least they didn't mention it).
I was on factory tour in february this year. It was great. If someone needs lecture about italian manufactures ,should buy latest "CAR" magazine. There is everything (maps , addresses etc.) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lucky Man! I visited Maranello around August a few years ago...and it was dead! Buenos tardes from Argentina! MARK
If you go there, visit Tony Auto, a tiny workshop opposite the factory just a bit to the north towards Modena. The older cars in there are incredible. I am going to be back to Milan at the end of October and would like to visit Maranello. I may need some TR parts (many small but pricey items), rather than having them shipped at great expense from Europe or North America to Dubai, I was thinking of buying them in Italy and taking them home in my suitcase. Aside from the large dealer on the Via Emilia in Modena, is there any place around Milan, Modena or Maranello to buy parts?
