It looks like I'm going to have the good fortune of making my first trip to Italy! I only get to stop for one weekend and will be heading to Milan. Can anyone recommend places that I could see some of the cars I never get to see around here? Ferrari and Lamborghini are always appreciated but Pagani, Bugatti, anything like that!?!? (I'd love to see a McLaren, but doubt there's anyway to find one) Are there any showrooms that I could at least walk past to see something like these?

Thanks so much for any advice people can give me.

Apart from the factory show room(s), I am not aware of anything like a car museum in Milan. Just enjoy the place, it is fantastic.

Do you (or anyone) know of any way I could find out what companies have showrooms in Milan and where there are? I've searched around a little on-line but the fact that I speak very little Italian isn't helping. It certainly isn't my whole purpose in going to Milan, but I figured, if I happen to be in the area :)

Can anyone recommend some reasonably priced restaurants? Maybe at or below the $50-$75 a person price range?

Pug57, not sure if you left let but right now there is an exhibit at the Torino Expo. center (where the Torino motor show was once held) featuring Italian concept cars. It's not far from Torino Porta Nuova train station, just head down to the River then go south through Park Valentino until you see the expo center (big white with ribbed roof), can't be more than 2 miles walk.

Pininfarina also has an open showroom but by appointment only. It is reachable by bus and is incredible.
Pagani also only by appointment. You must take a cab to get there from the train station, but wow, it's worth it.

If you have any questions just PM me.

-one last thing.....go to the left of the Duomo into the big department store, go all the way to the top to find a good resteraunt, even have a cafe out on the patio looking over at the Duomo, can't beat it.
