My wife and I booked a Euro vacation going all over the place. We are in Nice for a couple days and it just happens to be race weekend. Anyone have any suggestions regarding what tickets we should get? thanks!

Good stuff. thanks for the list. I already got tickets lined up and the hotel is booked. Not nearly as pricey as some might think. I will take many photos of course.

The newest stands - T iirc - are excellent. They overlook the pits, the second half of the swimming pool chicane, and if you're up at the top you even get some shade.

If your timing permits you to be in the area earlier (10 & 11 May), I would suggest the Historics. We're going to that in lieu of the F1 race. Historics are only held every two years. Much cheaper too!!

I wish I could hit the historic races. We get into Nice the day before the race, so that's not happening.

The two times I have been to Monaco GPI have brought the cheap tickets on the hill under the Palace. You get to sit with the Tifosi and have a view of the Circuit from The tunnel exit to Anthony Noghes. Bring something to sit on though. Think they were €30 last time I went in 2004. check out www.acm.mc

I agree the historics is a good day out too.
