    Guys,
First time going to a Nats game. I live in ashburn. Should I drive or take the Metro?
If I drive, where to park. Thanks for your help. Any other inside advice?
    Ron

There are open cash lots near the stadium and traffic was not bad when I was down for a Sunday night game against the Phillies a few weeks ago. Be prepared to pay $40 per car to park though. We had planned on taking the Metro in, but learned after getting to the Greenbelt Station that that particular station was closed for construction and they would shuttle you to a different station via busses first. We didn't have time to be shuttled to a different station first so we ended up driving it. They seem to discourage driving in and the Metro is convenient (and much cheaper), but I'd suggest checking to see that the station that you are using is open and trains are running.

    Ron,

I go to plenty of games and NEVER take the metro. There is plenty of parking for $15-20 right off M ave across from the stadium. I usually park underground in the building with the metro, right off M and Half st. Here's a link to the parking around the stadium.

I shoot straight down I66, cross Rosevelt Bridge and take Maine Ave straight to the park.

Its a great stadium, you'll love it. Usually on Sundays the kids get to run the bases, if you are taking any young ones.

Thanks very much for the help so far. Today is little league day so my 7 year old will be marching around the field before the game. Weather should be great.
