Going to SCCA Rally near Paris TX tomorrow

    This is a spur-of-the-moment decision to go to the SCCA Rally near Paris Texas tomorrow, Saturday. The weather is supposed to be like today (really nice!) and the Spyder needs some exercise.

    I'll be leaving between 9:30 and 10 am from Plano (meet at the 7-11 on the SouthWest corner of Spring Creek and Central/75). I'm not sure how long a drive it is, but we should get to Paris around 11:30, have a quick lunch and then on to the Camp Maxey National Guard base. They now have spectator bleacher seats (I was told).

    I worked the event earlier this year with Chris Rhodes (#37), He placed 2nd in GT class. not bad for non-turbo Subaru. Here's some pics.

    It's between 1 1/2 to 2 hours to Paris, then 8 more miles up the road to "Camp Maxey", the National Guard Base where the rally is run.

    Should be a fun day. See y'all at the 7-11. I'll have the silver Maserati Spyder.
