Well, I am going to Las Vegas to Attend the 2007 watch and Jewelry show! I was debating on what car to drive! It will be an approximate 500mi round trip It will make for some nice photographs as well. So, should I even ask??....What should I take?
I like to wake up the morning of the trip and decide. RS, 328 or Triumph...usually ends up being in the Tacoma as the dog doesn't match the interior of the RS...nor mesh well with the leather in the 328 and can't reach the footpegs on the Triumph. I've got to bring him along as he's my DD
No you shouldn't ask !! We already know you don't like driving your 348...... !!! You should fly down there..... !!! That is truly some great advice RTB!!! But the reality is.... if Chris does drive. It will be the 06 Infiniti G35, 04 Jetta TDI or 88 Porsche 928 S4 (those are my wanted cars BTW ) Chris I will put a "village coffee" on the line and say you will not drive the 348 !!!

I want you to drive your 348 because YOU want to drive it , without the coercion of a bet. But that is a long way to drive a car that hasn't seen much use. I would not drive it..... given these circumstances ...... So in sumation, I just want some free coffee !!!

Fly, don't drive that corridor of death. I hate the LA to LV drive! Too little road, too many A-holes in SUV's who are not paying enough attention to control their speeding metal crates on wheels. Then there's the construction zone. Yech, fly instead and have a few drinks in the meantime.
Your not wrong, I took mine for a 250km round trip the other day just for a chocolate thick shake and some chips and gravy
It's not the miles Chris, it's just such a crappie road. Strewn with idiots, drunks, Highway patrol, radar, spotter planes, motor homes, sandstorms, traffic jams and thud. Too many of them all.............take the Infinity or Porsche and save the Ferrari from road rash, windshield chips and frustration, better yet just fly and get it over with.

I live near Sacramento in Lodi and the wife and I drove the 348tb to Lake Tahoe a few years back, very sweet ride maybe 2 1/2 hours 1 way, but I am 6'2" so when we got there I was really stiff, I would take something more comfy if it was me then there r no worries where to park either, Vegas is a zoo when it comes to traffic and parking

I took it to Vegs about a yr and a half ago. Some spirited runs, but for the most part a boring drive. I am seriously considering taking it again. Major is done and it's ready for a run
Take it to the Valley of Fire to the north of the city. I/m sure there are many cool spots near Vegas.
Drive from Los Angeles-to-Las Vegas? B-O-R-I-N-G! I don't care what you're driving, it's a drag. One word . . . Barstow. It's been said by several of the Brothers, more elequently than me, fly!
drive it, no question. PM me if you want a route that isn't the BS bloody interstate. There is great country between here and there, and you can see it all at a fantastic rate of speed in a 348.
