Gokarting anyone?

This holiday break Im going to be heading down to Dromo1 for some indoor gokarting. LOTS of fun and prices are dirt cheap! Anyone want to join me? Im off of school now so pretty much any time works for me.

Also, they have an open endurance race on December 30th. Its 3 drivers to a team and if anyone else is interested, let me know! $60 per driver for the endurance race including practice laps, and 30 minutes of racing per driver (its a 90 minute race).

So are you interested in the endurance race? If so, we need another guy! Sunny? Byron? Jay? Anybody else interested? Maybe we can go practice once before December 30th. Its been almost half a year since I was last there so I could use some refreshing

 

I'm in too!!! I'm in OC all day tomorrow and Monday. I also have the FX Perfromance FDC event video I made. I tried posting it earlier but it took to long to upload. I'll try to zip it and see if that works.

Great, the more interest the better! If you rall interested in the endurance race, maybe they have room for a few teams of 3. Ill call tomorrow and ask. Can you guys just let me know what day and time your all available?

 

Dave is a complete mess & best left out of this event.

He is the one who helped me install the carpet in my car.

Jordan - We work during the week, so Sat or Sun is best for us.

 

I would love to take part wity you guys but I am just way too far behind on my chart dictation (what's new). I am flying with my wife to Vancouver Canada on the 24-28. Have loads of fun and I promise that if I can swing it on the next outing, I am there! Cheers,

I promise that when I ship my Model T down from Canada, I will be attending Crystal Cove nearly every weekend as I hope to find a new home for her. I'll let you take her for a spin as we just put the new supercharger on. It should make for a heck of a kick in the pants!

I checked the schedule on the website and its open racing all day. Im thinking sunday at 1pm. Ive got no plans though, so Im open to any time incase some of you guys cant make it then. We can do a few races. Ill probably only stick to 2 or 3 races myself...thats plenty.

Of course you guys all know you will get your asses kicked?

I have friends comming over for X-Mas on Sunday at 2:00. What time do they open?

 

It says 1:30pm for Monday through Friday, not sure if that applies to Saturday and Sunday or not. Would Saturday be better for you? Again, I have no conflicts this weekend. It is kind of short notice, so if you guys want you can postpone this and go after Christmas sometime. I might still go this weekend just because Ill probably be bored...but Id love to go more than once!

So its the Cove in the morning and then Go Karts in the afternoon? I have a party to go to in LA at 6 that night so it sounds like I'l be closer anyways.
There was some talk about making this a drive in the first part of January..... I assume you guy are driving your Fcars there right?

OK here is the deal. This saturday they are closed for a private event until 2:30. So, lets meet at Dromo at 2pm and jump in for the 2:30 race. It will take a few minutes for everybody to arrive and sign in so that should leave us with enough time.

How does that sound to everybody?

 

I'm out for Sat due to Holiday functions....during the week will be better for me until the holidays are over.

Rick - My car is leaking oil. I just took it in - Will probably be a $500 - $1000 problem for me. I just had the major done last month also.

I still plan on going to CC and Dromo though - But in my Jeep instead.

 

I may try to make it. My brother in law will be in town, and if he is into it, we'll go.
