Did any early 308 GTB's come out with gold colour rims?

Some Ferrari magnesium racing wheels were coated with the Dow 7 Chromate, which was a fragile coating designed to protect the magnesium for the short duration of the life of a racing wheel. Not a very durable coating for a longer term street application. They do look great on a red car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You could buy the gold coloured 16" repros from Superformance, and keep your original 14" for posterity.
I have 16's on the car which I prefer, but also have 14's in storage which need to be restored. So was hoping to restore them and spray them gold...oh well
I Have a 308 gts yellow 1982, looking at putting on grey 16" from SP?? Any thoughts. As replacing the rims and tryes as they a not original from SP.
While it is my opinion that the gold looks incredible on a GTB. I decided to try it with some HRE's purchased a while back from a fellow fchatter on my GTS. I had the wheels painted instead of powdercoated so I can always go back. I'd like to also get a set of the SP 16's but no room in the garage.
